As an engineer who loves sports, I feel incredibly thankful to have crossed paths with the game of golf. For the last five years I’ve studied its details with the same curiosity I’ve always brought to problem-solving — breaking things down, testing ideas, and finding what really works. What surprised me most is how much joy I found in sharing that process with others.

I’ve volunteered with First Tee Idaho for two years, helping young players grow in both golf and life skills. Since 2024 I’ve given 65+ lessons, and in 2025 alone I’ve already taught 50+ lessons to 15+ students. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see their games improve and their confidence grow.

My coaching style is built around keeping things simple and practical, but I also teach with depth. At first that can feel a little complicated — not because golf has to be hard, but because most people are playing it in a much harder way than they need to. Sometimes it takes a little “rough” relearning before the pieces click, but once they do, the swing feels easier, more natural, and more consistent than ever.

Most of all, I aim to create an environment where you feel supported, encouraged, and free to learn at your own pace. Whether you’re brand new to the game or returning after years away, I’ll meet you where you are, give you clarity on what to work on, and help you enjoy the process of getting better.

My long-term goal is to keep growing as a coach and eventually make this my full-time path, helping as many people as I can achieve their goals — whether that’s lowering scores, feeling more confident on the course, or simply falling in love with the game.
